Some of the worst games of 2012 (so far)

Who the hell is Jaco Van Der Walt?!?!?!?

That person needs to show their face around these here parts

As for the games, I think we should start spreading the reviews across all platforms since there are a number of games I can name which have sucked for this year alone...

We never thought we’d see the day when fans refused a Star Wars video game, but they did.
Actually I'm not sure they did. Star Wars Kinect even while being panned by critics is still one of the best sellers in the UK and USA, possibly other parts of the word. So I'm not seeing a whole lot of refusing going on. :)

Yep was top of the Xbox charts here for almost a full month. /Shudders.

Superman 64 - Worst game in human History.

I thought that title was held by Big Rigs Racing?

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing (often simply referred to as Big Rigs) is a 2003 third-person racing video game developed by Stellar Stone and published by Activision Value for Microsoft Windows PC systems; in 2004, GameMill Publishing was instead chosen to distribute copies of the title. The game was released only in North America.

Although the packaging of Big Rigs states that the main objective of the game is to race their semi-trailer truck (known colloquially as a "Big Rig") to safety in order to deliver illegal cargo being carried by the vessel, while avoiding the local police force, in actuality, there are no police in the game, and no such objectives are presented within the game itself. Much of the game instead centers on the player racing their truck against fellow drivers to the finish line; however, the player's computer-controlled opponent vehicles have no AI and never move from the starting position. In addition, due to a lack of collision detection, there are no obstacles to negotiate within the game, and the laws of physics can be violated frequently.

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing received unanimously negative reviews; much of the criticism for the game was directed at a lack of collision detection, frequent bugs, poor visuals, and severe lack of functionality. As a result, the game is now widely regarded as one of the worst video games of all-time.

Hey, at least you guys didn't have to play NeverDead.

*glares at James*

Lol I know that feeling! I had to play Fighter Uncadged or whatever it was called for the Kinect. Game was so crap Tinman never ran the review, maybe the review was crap also.

I would add ME3 to that list and watch people go apeshit. :P

Then again, I do have some serious trollish tendencies. :(

Who the hell is Jaco Van Der Walt?!?!?!?

Huh, what are you on about?

Shame imagine the reviewers who have to play these games! They must see some real crap.

I once spoke to a reviewer who told me that the worst thing in the world is having to take time the time and stop playing something like Mass Effect or Assassin's Creed and being forced to play a shitty game like Nam '67 (just an example. The game he listed was something to do with Nam, but I can't remember the exact name). Worst part is, they either have to finish it or play long enough to get a proper feel for the game.

Oh shame, they have to stop playing games for entertainment and have to play games so they the can review them because you know, IT'S THEIR JOB?

Sorry I find it hard to feel sorry for someone who makes a living playing games. :)

Hey, if you don't feel sorry someone who is forced to play through Generic Shooter #20381, then you're not human.

Unless that person works at IGN or Gamespot. There they don't write reviews, they write lengthy advertisements cleverly disguised as reviews.

I feel sorry for them.
Its like their job yes.

But makes me think of like that one thing I heard in a movie or series or something where the guy is a gyne and he says he does not have a gf becuase when he gets home after his working day he is done with "that" for the day.

I dont want to get home and not be in the mood for games because I played crap all day.

Just saying...
