Some of the worst games of 2012 (so far)

Well, I haven't played any of the games on this list but did recently buy Soul Caliber 5. Gameplay is average but what really gets to me is the bad translations from Japanese to English. Japanese sentiments and humour are just not for me, also one of the reasons I refuse to ever buy anything by Square again.
"Is that so." one of the most used phrases in my opinion. Also the non-sensical story development in story mode as well as the childish one-liners.

Also why would you even connect different games from different development studios JUST because of the publisher, that's silly.

Even with differing studios, Square Enix published games have a certain feel to them. It's hard to explain, but it's there.

I tend to avoid all Square Enix published games unless users confirm that it's a good game, as in the case of The Last Remnant.

I think that's all in your head, unless you are telling that Deus Ex Human Revolution, Final Fantasy 13 and Laura Croft: Guardian of Light all feel the same.
 
I never said they feel the same, but while playing them you do always get the feeling that it's a eastern developed game, and not a western developed game. As I said, hard to explain. No idea how to explain it better than that.

They all have a distinctive east-ish feel to them.

It's nothing to do with the particular publisher, rather there are a few of them that do this. As I mentioned its mainly because of the heavy Japanese influence they pump into some of these games. Square, Namco, Capcom are only examples of some of the devs I don't like much.
Of course there are some exceptions but the majority of the stuff they bring out is full of Japanese pop culture. Translate directly into English like they do and you get a very annoying game.
 
I'm with Omega on this one. Mass Effect 3 is the most disappointing game I have played this year and probably one of the most disappointing AAA games I have ever played. Hell, I enjoyed Neverdead more than Mass Effect 3 (up untill the end of Neverdead, bullshit final boss fight ...).
