Hehe I also still have both Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky. Looking forward to Call of Priyat
 
They are still adding to this mod, so maybe we will see more gameplay changes added to the mod. Maybe make it compatible with OL. I'm sure a lot of people are asking for this.
 
Does anyone have an alternative download location for this. I have tried the moddb site and the download stops working at about 70% and will not resume. This happened multiple times, with flashget download manager and normal download thing of firefox. I wanna try out Stalker with new shiny graphics!

Got any that stops it being the resource whore it is? Coz damn its demanding on the old Rig. I can get Batman AA running on here all on hight same with prototype but clear sky slows down to a crawl if i even look at anti anilaising.
 
Yeah it really is a resource hog but I think its just becouse its bad coding.
 
I think so too. Some one should ask the guyz who did Stalker Complete to do the same thing for Clear Sky.
 
I wish the developers used a proper engine. I wish stalker two uses the crysis engine.
 
Nah. Xray is a brilliant engine it just need some serious tweaking. Even the CryEngine is as atmospheric as xray can be. The developers just need to spend more time on finding bux and doing proper coding.
 
Yup. Nothing Wrong with the Xray Engine. Its the Devs and the publisher (THQ I think) allways pushing them. That's why the game allways runs so good on the later patches.
 
I like the xray engine but they just dont seem to code it properly. now that the new expansion going to be dx11 I just wonder how well it will run. Stalker is one of my fav games of all time.
 
I can't seem to be able to download anything from moddb. It downloads for a bit and then just stops because of a server error. I've wasted about a gig trying to download from there. Some of the mods there are mirrored at FileHost or something and I managed to download those. Not matter how many times I try with the files hosted at moddb itself, they just won't download completely.
 
I also use FreeDownloadManager. I tried using Chrome's own download manager and Firefox downloading normally. I'm thinking that it may have something to do with the WebAfrica trial connection I'm using but everything else downloads fine. It's just from moddb.

It's weird!
