Okay ... so I've managed to track down a trial key that gives me access to 10 days of wandering around looking like a noob - and yeah I'm feeling like one because it is different.
Shockingly enough, I'm kinda enjoying myself. The skills and attributes system is mother confusing for me at the moment, so I'm pretty much just randomly choosing stuff and hoping for the best. I'm ranked at Lieutenant 8 at the moment - hoping to make it to Lt Cmdr at the very least so I can at least grab a new ship to play with before the time runs out.
There's also a supposed Borg invasion going on, although it must be the tamest invasion in the history of mankind, cos I haven't spotted any of the buggers yet.
