Star Wars: The Old Republic

It is mostly the haters that crying about leaving. I say don't let the door hit you on the way out...and can I have your stuff :) . Its as Stefan said, the guild is getting bigger by the day. If I am not mistaken it is close to 150 toons already and everyday there is more that joins. Granted there are a few ALT's but still impressive for an SA Guild :)

Also, THIS IS STAR WARS! I like it. I would love to play more, but it is not always possible. Once again, there will always be haters and there will always be people hoping the game fails. I say, Screw them. If you enjoy the game don't listen to the haters.

My 5 credits :)

Roll a char that you haven't played yet :) I just about have one of each AC now... Maybe I should focus on one and get him to 50 :P

I think the problem is a lot of ppl are expecting to much from a game that has just launched, basically a game that is WoW big now (all the raid and pvp content, the amount of classes and professions. ect ect).

I wonder how many ppl played WoW when it 1st came out? The damn game was broken, classes were broken (had to reroll my warrior at the time cause it was so shit). I remember the game being down for 2 days because a patch broke the game, Blizzard even gave us free time due to all the downtime.

Star wars has had an amazing launch (when u consider above) and these ppl bitching should leave the game and come back 6months to a year when mutliple content patches have been released.

There will always be people leaving in the beginning. What is is that they say? That 50% of the first players leave after the first month? I don't remember exactly, but it's something like that.

And when they leave they of course have to let the world know on the forums and we all know that it doesn't take a lot of people to spam a forum.

They are right, of course; the game isn't perfect and there's lots of bugs that need fixing and some pretty important features that are lacking. But people are impatient and where else can they let out frustrations?

They'll move on to the next MMO and repeat the cycle after the initial excitement wears off.

Well-said.

'tis the first MMO that's had us hooked for an entire month, solidly. I'd say that's a pretty big achievement.

Yeah. Though to be fair, most of the world PvP takes place in the World PvP Zones (Tattooine and Ilum). Also, if you queue for Warzones as Republic, the wait is generally less than a minute.

i just got the game and cant decide what class to play, i created one of each lol,is Assassin/Shadow viable if i dont like stealthing?

Sure. You can tank with the Assassin, but the one tree is extremely dependant on stealth. The madness tree is probably less so.

Ok guys, got myself the installation discs, so planning on starting this weekend.

Now to get a key, I have read through the threads and I just want to confirm some things:

If I buy from gamekeysbuy, will I have issues playing on a EU server (since it seems to be a US site - priced in dollars). Are the keys region based?

And what's the difference between the Deluxe and Standard version? And the retail key/account version, what are the issues there?

I can't find anything explaining this.
