Digital Deluxe Edition gives you the following items:

- Longhorn STAP (Essentially a free mount for when you hit level 25)
- Flare gun
- Holo dancer
- Access to VIP store
- Screenshot device

I don't think you can get the Collector's Edition anymore though.
 
god damit can some one help me choose a class!,i couldnt decide so i played all of them till lvl 10 to get a feel of them,but now i still cant decide so someone just choose a class for both sides...dps please

I like the imperial agent, sith assassin and bounty hunter.
 
hmmm...are other ppl gitching with he smuggler aswell?was gna go bounty hunter and smuggler,but think im gna choose trooper cause the glitch is annoying
 
getting stuck in the crouch animation,attack animations nt showing when stuck,not crouching to loot when not stuck in crouch and npcs dying and staying standing...sometimes still moving lol...get some of it with trooper aswell

What are you interested in? PvP or PvE?

On the swtor.com forums everyone's complaining about scoundrels/Ops being IMBA with their stealth attacks. However, if you're a jug/guardian you'll faceroll the Huttball warzone event with all your leaps. Bounty hunters are also crazy fun by the looks of it. Awesome healing and nice dps.

My assassin dinged 50 last night. Our dps sucks atm, so since lvl40 I've been specced as tank and so my dps is pretty much non-existent, but I'm able to solo champions.

If I had to reroll now, I'd go for one of the following classes:

Sith Sorcerer / Jedi Sage (Healer spec)
Juggernaut / Guardian (DPS spec)
Bounty Hunter / Commando (Healer/dps hybrid)

Those are the 3 classes with the most survivability and do some pretty neat damage. Marauders/Sentinels dish out tons of damage too and look cool with their dual lightsabers, but they don't survive long enough on their own to make use of it. They're also crying on the forums about this.
 
i havnt tried the pvp yet but from other mmo mostly pve,my trooper is a commando,i did enjoy the starting area with the bounty hunter,wouldnt a Marauder with a tank or healing companion help that?
 
I have downloaded the client and am now really considering purchasing the game...

The space battles were a little 1980's arcady and a bit offputting to be honest. Does the rest of the game make up for the cheese in space?

The space combat is very very small part of the game. Rest of the game makes more then up for it.

As has been said many times before, it really is an immersive and entertaining game!

Agreed. The space battles are actually just there as an XP grind. And frankly, cheesy though it may be, it's still a more enjoyable grind than most of the WoW grinding quests...
 
We have 45+ south african people playing on Hidden Beks as republic, I cant speak for any other servers or factions ;-)
 
My housmate bought it last night and his words this morning were.... "I dunno hey"

Then again, he played it all night. Maybe I should be reading into that...

So I am hoping he changes his tune by the time I get home from work...
