Starcraft 2

So, some of the guys at my work is starting to play this again. Does anyone know where we can buy this game for the best price? I have a copy, but 2 or 3 of the guys here need copies.

Found the stream of PandaTank's first game (versus Safa from Belarus) in the 2012 StarCraft II World Championship Series: Combined European Nationals. Here's the linky, starts just after 42:30. He's played 2 other games as well so far. More info here: linky

Whisper 519

I just started playing again this week after about 3 months. It's amazing how it just isn't like riding a bike. I feel like a complete noob.
I (Gold) Lost a ZvZ against a Bronze, who wasn't even playing good.
But my ZvP is still awesome :)

Hi all!

I would really appreciate your help on this plus it will be a fun and interesting experience

I am doing my Honours in Psychology at Wits and chosen and therefore excited to do my research on gamers and cognition (higher order function of the brain).

I am looking for participants that are male gamers from Johannesburg between the ages of 18 and 25, that are fluent in English and have at least a Matric.

*edited note*: if you are 25-30 years old please still contact me

I need two types of gamers (who play on any format):

1. Those who have only played first or third person shooter games for at least the last 6 months
2. Those who have only played strategy games for at least the last 6 months

There are a few other inclusion criteria but if you are anyhow interested in being part of my research please private message me and we can go from there.

Thank you in advance

Paula

25-30 = -5. That might be a bit hard to come by. Might have to be a Buddhist with Cancer who has 5 years to live.. but there's no way to know that in your next life you'll be a gamer. Hmmm.. complicated.

I'm 25.6, in PTA, playing Mass Effect and Starcraft... so do I get to be in both teams? (Will add Counter-strike on the list sometime later this year)

Out of sheer curiosity, what's the point of the study? Although it might be interesting to read the results.. what happens to it on the practical side of things?

Cant have people who play both:(
There is another part of this study that will be used as a comparison but the point of the study is that i want to see if 1. certain games have psychological benefits for the people who play them and more importantly 2. if gaming (not just the specifically made games) can be used in brain training and possibly cognitive rehabilitation. the more in depth studies will come in masters and my PhD but right now this is just an honours level study.
