Great news dude, I wish you the best of luck. It's a tough market, but if you get in there and do well, then you're set. I might even buy a PC from you too one day![]()

Gamersrigs = bit of a tongue twister, gamingrigs should provide more google hits - good luck trying to find a name not registered yet; this can be a frustrating task.
Couple of thought:
Your website name should resemble common google searches to enable more hits on your site.
The market is extremely competitive. Once someone finds a reputable online shop which provides good service delivery, they tends to stay there and build loyalty. You have to have something unique that separates you from the group, and client service and price is key. Look into "emotional engagement".
Your website design will also play a big role. It needs to be functional, user friendly, easy on the eye and have an effective carting/basket system. Someone mentioned the credit card payment option, this sway a lot of users and if you can, try and implement this facility. Paypal is also a good value added option.
Getting suppliers, relisble suppliers and building relationships takes a while and requires a lot of trial and error and patience. So choose your products and brands wisely.
I'm no expert on the matter, just wanted to add my 2 cents. Good luck with your endeavors!!
hee hee... tis not the webdesign that is difficult... but the programing of the site to work well. That takes knowledge of PHP.
I guess that goes with the end of year rush. Everyone is frantic, businesses launching their end of year products, people getting ready for hols etc. Setting it all up in the new year is probably better. Gives you time to plot as well.I am still planning on opening the shop guys
Only in the new year though. Things are a little bit hectic at the moment.

See if you can get distro rights to NZXT and carry the items that performance-pcs.com carries.
Hey dude, just a quick thing, don't know if it was asked but not going to read through 6 pages of stuff to see.
Have you thought about partnering up with somebody in different cities. As far as I know you are in JHB area, but for somebody like me it does me know good since I am in Cape Town.
But having a partner in say CT and maybe even in Durbz to help you out. Maybe like a franchise offering instead of just limiting yourself to one city.
Remember hardware is more expensive down here (as far as I know) because everything first goes to JHB then shipped across country. So having that and having distribution from JHB (you) to your franchises might be able to be a good option?
Well yeah I have, I am not crazy about the idea xD I'm not sure if there is anyone out there that has the same work ethics and that will share the same dream. Will think about it long and hard but if someone down in cpt/dbn wants a pc built I would glady have it couriered down to them.
