I think we going to see a repeat of the past to be honest... And im a lions fan so its disappointing to admit... But there is nothing thats changed to make me think otherwise... I dont think they will get relegated again, only because they will beat the Kings in the play off/knock out round...
 
guess i'll have to stream this from work or on my phone then and after what Saracens did to Connacht i don't see an easy game for the sharks and i really do hope there are no injuries.

Only now? I suppose it makes sense since if he is banned for some games then it will only happen now. Though you think that he will face a judicial committee after the game and then sit out the games when the next tournament starts.
 
Remember in the beginning of last year they did the same thing with the sharks and butch james which is fair but it's also a stupid method i feel rather put like a flag on his profile and if he gets yellow carded in any of his next game then the ban can be enforced
 
I really wish that they would release the team sheet of the Sharks team that will be playing this weekend. We had some discussions at work about the best combinations and it will be very interesting to see who gets picked.

Its going to be an interesting game because we should get a good idea of how they want to approach the season, but there tactics are going to need to be different against the northern hemisphere team... Any idea if the ref is northern or southern hem? Coz that will also be a big factor...

Im actually getting to like the Cheetahs more and more, they arnt a star studded team, but they always seem to have awesome upsets, and if last year is anything to go on, we could be in for a treat!

Jip i enjoy their form of rugby the most even though their only my 2nd team.
 
I heard the Sharks team for Saturday has some new faces and people in 'new' positions ...... should have something concrete by tomorrow, so we'll see
 
Well for one i think they are going to play Zelinga on 10 seeing as lammetjie is on honeymoon and whitehead will prolly play one of the centre spots i'm glad they made Bizzie captain this year i have never been a huge keegan Daniels fan :p

I'm a big fan of both Zeilinga and Whitehead. Frans Steyn for me isn't what he used to be. The ball always dies in his hands. If he learns to pass then I'll be happier.

Got to agree Steyn has lost that spark he had when he was younger... He also doesnt seem to be such a physical presence any more... Its a pity because i really enjoyed his style of play... I would love him to find a consistent starting point for the Boks, and not be forced to play "utility" back...
