Telkom Internet working on ADSL problems

Man I hate telkom. This issue is not the end of the world for me, shit happens. But man when something goes wrong, its impossible to get them to come out and fix it. When the product works, its great, but when it breaks, the telephone support system is the worse I've ever had to deal with.

Holy fucking shit! This has been plaguing me since last November!
I got charged 2k for all the technicians that came out and said jack shit was wrong, it pisses me off to no end.

I wish I had a ping of 16ms to CPT :cry:

My current ping to CPT is over 200ms :mad:
 
Hope it gets fixed the gaming latency has been so terrible and downloads have been slow, glad I got my Afrihost backup.
 
I've also been affected. Have not been able to play online lately due to the latency issues. Gave me time to catch up on some of my SP titles though. Do hope they sort out the issues quick, as downloading PSN titles at 10% of my speed is not my cup of tea.

You should get the free 1 gig Afrihost accounts they come in handy for these occasions.

Have you tried using a different ISP?
 
I'm having connection issues with telkom when playing online and I'm annoyed by it,plus I'm paying to much for this service.

I just levelled with a manager at Telkom today, I've finally snapped. I've been having these issues since last Nov, if it was just recently I'd definitely understand but it hasn't been. I've said if my line isn't sorted by the end of next week I am bringing lawyers into this, even if I can't fucking win. This has gone beyond the point of getting my money's worth from them, this time I am out for their blood.

My line shits out when it rains, when it's too hot, when a call comes through. My latency has been in the hundreds since then and I'm done now. We'll see if they speed up at all but I do have my lawyer looking into this already, so I'm beyond fucking serious now.
