Fair enough, but how can you lead 18-3, and lose the game from there. I have been a sharks supporter my whole life, and will still remain one till the day I die. It's just that they have what it takes to be unbeatable, but only if they learn to play the full 80, and not 79 min! If you look at how many semi's and finals they have played, they really ought to have a better record of cup wins than that. I guess it's just some tough love from my side. Winning the currie cup 2 years in a row would have been nice though...

I am very happy that the Final is at Loftus, now the Cheetahs can beat the Blue Bulls on their home turf. Again.

As for the C & S game. The Ref missed at least another 5 points for the Cheetahs, other than that it was a brilliant game.

Yea well seeing as I live in Bloem, im gonna support them in any case. Another sharks win will just have been a lot better for me, but for the Free State Rugby Union, they really need the money to keep their good players here, and not loose the best of them to other rugby unions with more money.

They are claiming that the Blue Bulls / Bulls will be the first team in SA history to win the Super 14 and Currie Cup in one year.

This may be, but what about the Golden Lion's Super 10 and Currie Cup in 1993?

What do others think, should the Lions be given the credit for doing it first?

And crazydude, I got to agree with you, the Lions did it first.

As for tonight's game. I reckon the Bulls are going to be in front by 10 or more points by halftime. And then in the second half the Cheetahs will flourish making it a close game.

Bulls to win though.
 
Congrats to the bulls for pulling off a win making them the second team in history to take the super and currie cup. Bad luck cheetahs
 
with SPRINGBOK team announced for the game against france this w'end (friday actually), i have some BIG question marks against the inclusion of zane kirchner, adrian jacobs and ryan kankowski...*sigh*
but i'm pretty happy with the rest
 
I reckon we are going to lose. France was brilliant in choosing their team. They are going to attack our problem areas. They chose fast big centres but don't be surprised if they don't always run straight in the direction of Adi. Schalk will protect Adi and France will know this.

Another problem is that we arrived in France pretty late. This may count against us. Especially against Morne Steyn. We've got a lot of class but I'm going with France to win this one.
 
And I forgot to add: The referee is Wayne Barnes!

If you are a betting man then it may be worthwhile betting against South Africa. I hope we win though!
 
I think the arriving late thing will again do us a solid. We did it for that Perth match and we kicked holy ass :D Apart from the ref doing his thing, I give us a good chance if Kirchner and Jacobs can lock it down.
