This is the thing about Hitman titles. I feel the first few attempts are more about trial and error and acclimatising yourself with the mechanics of the level and the situation at hand. Try this and see if someone notices and get spotted or killed. Try that and see if they react and get seen or killed, etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the way I like to play. I test and push the boundaries to see how far they can be stretched before actually attempting the mission.

You can do this by all means! My first attempt at Paris, not one fuck was given! I ran around like an idiot just taking in as much as i could! Ended up in a full on gun brawl with the security, and after killing like 10 of them they got me lol...

But you will see the system they have put in place in my opinion is really awesome, you can "overhear" people and gain intel on how to complete your mission, or find things on the map that give you intel into something else... Last night i spent about 2 hours trying to get the silent assassin on Paris, Iv figured out a way to kill the chick perfectly, but the guy is proving harder than initially thought... The different ways to do the mission are incredible... And the only way to figure them out is to try something... Even the intel you are given doesn't paint the perfect picture... It just guides you in the right direction...
 
Anyone else have the bug I do? If you move RIGHT after throwing a coin (or even a wrench I find), the coin does not hit the floor, but simply falls through the world, never grabbing the attention of who it was meant to.

Also...The challenges don't always seem to trigger properly as completed. I got the points for Personal touch (did it silent assassin suit only fibre wire both, and got the THAT bit completed) after the mission, but it doesn't show as completed under the achievements area...

Just wanna know if its only me :p

[MENTION=12607]mottamort[/MENTION] I did have a few issues with the challenges on the first training mission, I put the target in a locker, distracted a guard with the generator, placed a gun on the floor and let a guard find it and get distracted, found the rat poison on the ship, found a waiters outfit, poisoned ritter, drowned ritter, and escaped, and i think i did more but cant remember, but then after i saw i didn't get the challenges completed for the generator or putting him in the locker...

Nope haven't experienced anything like that lol
I do know if you're behind a wall/couch/object that is slightly higher/taller than you are you won't be able to throw a coin.

I'll see if i can trigger it again and record it. Sadly, i lost my 3tb data drive with all my movies, series and user data (OS drive is ssd so all that shifted to my 3tb), which included some recordings of me staring at a wrench as it fell through the world after throwing it as a distraction.

Ouch man that really sux.
Only slight niggle I've encountered was when opening the taps to flood the bathroom in the Sheikh's room. There is a half second stutter that happens every single time I do it.
 
Only real gripe I've had in my 1 hour or so, is that I seem to get a micro stutter when rotating the camera (sometimes). Not sure if this is a drop in frames as it happens so quick I don't have much time to check my FPS counter. Though I suspect it is a drop in framerate.

So I ended up deleting/uninstalling the game. Will re-download at some point, but this was a real bummer!
 
This thread needs some LOVE!!!

I still have so much to do on the Paris level, But im seriously excited for the next map! Also super keen on the exclusive PS4 content!

 
Episode 3: Marrakesh is out. 7.3GB update on Steam/PC. Haven't had a chance to get through Episode 1: Paris yet, never mind Sapienza, so Marrakesh - good as it looks in the trailer - will have to wait as well.
