The Last of Us "contender for best game this gen"

Polygons review has caused quite a stir

Nice :wtf:

Yeah, for all we know the banned guy was being a real dick.

Also, one thing about Polygon's reviews, when they review a game, the reviewer does a write up based on the game (no scores involved), then the team gives a score that matches up with the write up. This means in that particular process they don't ask the question of whether or not the game is better the game B or C, because ultimately that's a different matter all together.

So I get what Jeff Rubenstein is getting at, but it's inaccurate IMO. Better score =/= Better game.

This was the tweet that got him banned. I'd strenuously disagree with the ban on that basis; it was an indictment of Polygon but it wasn't trolling.

I don't think that's the guy who got banned, unless he changed his name to Charles.

Yeah, that's not the guy who got banned, the guy who got banned was actually involved in the tweet conversation, he posted the picture but still didn't provide any substantial context.

Normally, I'd argree. But they're banning everyone who insinuates that isn't a coincidence.

I think he may have made some insinuations about the score being tied to the lack of Sony advertising on the site. But still, we don't have enough context.
