Anyone playing board games?
I used to play rather straight forward board games: Risk, Monopoly, Cluedo (Afrikaans version of Clue) and Mad Magazine Game.
Bit of Catan, chess etc...but its rare to find an opponent of equal skill so it ends up being meh.
I want Arkham Horror but don't know where to get it. I have Eldritch Horror, Lord of the Rings LCG and Death Angel. Don't have anyone to play it with
We'll see. In truth I haven't played properly in like 10 years...but the game suits me personality wise so I can't be that far off the mark. What platform are you using? You can play chess against me online if you want. I've been studying chess like crazy these last couple of years and have gotten quite good.I'm hoping to start playing otb tournaments next year.

I light of the discussions starting in another thread, and Eugene pointing out to us previous threads, I thought it would be good to resurrect this board game thread and discuss a bit further, seeing as we have mods that are just as interested.
So board games. I recently got to play Cards Against Humanity. Such a fun game. You have to play this with people that have dirty minds, as it makes the game so much more funny. What's more is you can make this game yourself. You don't even have to buy it (and it's all legal). Just go to the Cards Against Humanity website and download the PFD doc with all the playing cards and rules, then print it, buy some wine, gather your friends, and laugh your ass off.
