Why are you fighting for people who don't want to be fought for? Dampi is gone (he was gone for a while actually, posting only in this thread to win free shit), so are most of the other members who were removed.

This is some social justice warrior craziness.

Just be honest here, are you Dampi? :p View attachment 14370

Have you ever heard the phrase - be a voice for the voiceless? It's a part of my personality.

I can't speak for Dampi, but it might not be a part of his personality to defend himself. Some people just back off rather than engage even if they feel wronged. That does not make it okay to walk over such people.

Is my really so much to ask for transparency in something that is suppose to be for the community by the community?

Feel free to drop me a PM next time you want to ask me something directly. This will undoubtedly cause another flurry of posts.

That logic is fundamentally flawed. If people aren't posting here, they cannot be part of the community. Step back and look at what you're saying, because it's sounding like hypocrisy. The voiceless who are voiceless because they're inactive? They don't have a voice because they aren't here to say anything. If you've only noticed a week after you've been removed that you aren't in the group anymore, then eish, that's your problem, and it proves my point.

That does not make it okay to walk over such people.

I want to know who these people are. It is impossible to be a leader for phantoms. PM me these people who are supposedly voiceless, I want to know. Do these supposed oppressed even want to engage in the forums, or are they just here for free stuff? I mean, if these people can't voice a concern on an anonymous forum, how do they get anything done in real life?

From what I know of the mods here, they're open to any concerns. I don't know them personally, I haven't even engaged with them a lot, so I am definitely not one of the 'elite', if such a thing even exists. You're allowed to ask for transparency, but they way you've done it is wrong.

Haha, those posts will come whether I say anything or not. ;)

Feel free to PM me if you have a question for me. This just seems like flame bait.

So when I ask some questions, it's flame bait? Double standards...

What is the point of having a private discussion now? Is that not what you criticised Eugene for, for not making everything public?

Again, you are welcome to ask me in a PM. Eugene was in a position of power and was tasked by the community to act on their behalf. While he was wearing the hat of moderator his actions should be transparent to the community that he represents. My position is dissimilar, and I'd like to spare the guys who are subscribed to this thread from having to read your conversation with me.

Gee, if only that were used instead of creating flamebait threads in the first place.

Hindsight is 20/20 hey?

Ok let's try it another way then: When a member that has contributed to this thread is kicked it affects the group, and is relevant to the group. However when one member of the group asks another member of the group a direct question. It is not relevant to the others of the group and it can also be considered off-topic. It's inconsiderate towards those who are subscribed to this thread.

So while there are still members left in this group, can we take it to PM or feel free to start another thread where it can be discussed at leisure?

Right...I've reached my limit of civilness too....and to think I was gonna give away Arkham Knight. Thanks to everyone else, it was fun and we all had a nice run of compassion and generosity. I tip my hat.

Congrats Wyzak on yet another member driven away from a community full of people that shared out of no obligation. Racking up quite the streak here.

Perhaps do this with your Arkham Knight copy :)

I'm sure ignore would work well :p

Very well, in that case I will cancel my give-aways until things have been resolved. If anybody really wants them, drop me a PM and we'll go the pay it forward route.

Since there are a number of established forumites that are not finding the debate around the rules around the MyGaming Steam Community give-aways stimulating (and even unpleasant), I will be splitting off the latest round of posts into a separate thread so this one can go back to being about giving away games.

No posts should be deleted in the move, but if anything goes missing, give me a prod and I'll see if I can track them down.
