They say these cards will expire in a couple days time- so whats the point in collecting them besides for maybe turning them into gems? anyone know?

Basically just to get the badge and level up your profile. Otherwise they don't have much of a purpose unfortunately.

I've sold each and every one of them, made over a $1.50 just with them.

You can sell them while the sale is still on and make a bit of money. I sold all the cards at the beginning of the sale for around $0.17 each. They're now around $0.07. I collected them near the end of this week and crafted my badge. Now I sell them again. :)

I also sold mine in the beginning. I'm almost up to a full set now after which I'll craft the badge and sell the rest. :)

I just needed 3 more cards, but had doubles. So I bought the ones I needed to craft. It feels like they were dishing cards out at a phemomenal rate this sale. I had 17 cards in total... SO FAR. I can still play the minigame and earn another card or 2.

DO IT! It's an incredible game and well worth paying full price. I'm around 13 or so hours in, just started my last promotion. I don't spend time with street crime or just cruising, the story and cases are just too good! The treasure hunt case was a lot of fun. :D
