There's a GIF for that
So who else is getting this? And on what platforms?

I'm quite looking forward to it myself, I just hope the launch isn't such a mess as Mortal Kombat X was. At least we already got the keys in advance this time.

What a surprise another Nvidia Gameworks title that runs like shit on AMD Gpu's.
Not to mention how now all of a sudden the games system requirements now include an AMD card...lol

https://www.pixeldynamo.com/news/ga...-amd-card-issues-system-requirements-updated/

I mean really

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (2 GB Memory Minimum) | AMD Radeon HD 7950 (3 GB Memory Minimum)

Rocksteady...a 7950 absolutely destroys a GTX660 in every measurable way. Just fuck off already.

Pre order cancelled, will pick it up on a steam sale.

Busy preloading, but coz of load shedding that hit (and a "load shedding nap" that turned into 5 f$*king hours of sleep) I started it late, and my 4mb line is not gonna have those 33gb done before tomorrow evening :'(

@ The_Joker: AMD have already gotten drivers out, so maybe that'll help. As someone with an AMD card in my box I"ll definitely be wanting it to not run sucky, so will post regarding that when I can :)

I really hope AMD can get around this the green brand is rly starting to piss people off with this game works crap. And BT games can't say when those of us who ordered on pc might get our games so i might not even play this weekend :(

Ya, Forbes, the foremost gaming news site :p I'm with you though, I'm waiting for a steam sale. Got more than enough to keep me busy, and I'm still running a 5850 for now, so I'd rather put some money into a new pc before I buy a new AAA title at launch.

You just have to take a look at the steam reviews to see for yourself bud.

Locking a pc game to 30fps in this day in age? Really? lol
Then there is the incredibly poor optimization and sound issues on top of that.

I definitely will, but after the day 0 bitching and fanboying has died down. I normally look at steam reviews before I but a discounted title. I'm just relieved that I convinced my wife not to pre-order it as a father's day gift!

What. The actual. Fuck.

Disclosure: I'm still reading through your linked article as I'm typing this, so I'm mostly not up to speed as to all the pc issues, but this is ridiculous. Its not as if there was ever a hubbub about 30 vs 60 fps, right?

I'm forgiving to these issues on release, but only for a day or two. I remember Skyrim having sound issues on my machine on day 0, that were fixed within a couple of hours.. Simply, there ain't no test like a release, and all of the issues won't ever be caught before release. That's the nature of PC gaming with our variety of systems, isn't it?

But seriously, 30 fps?! :wtf:

Yip 30fps, unlock to 60 via ini editing, no in game option.
There was a 3.5Gb patch already as far as I know and it's done nothing for the game on the optimization front.
Guys with absolute beast machines (Titan X, Gtx980Ti) are complaining of massive fps drops (60fps down to 15fps) for no apparent reason.
Gpu utilization is all over the place, jumping between 50-99% usage.
Stuttering and generally poor performance no matter what hardware you're running.

My guess...Poor console port.

Being such a mature engine, it has got to be poor optimization of game assets, right? Sigh, I did not foresee Rocksteady dropping the ball on this one!

Well tbh I'm not surprised, it is a PC release after all. What would a day one PC game be without an immense amount of issues...

Oh what a ride I've had with this game:
Bought the PC version from Takealot, they then told me it was delayed. So I asked for instore credit.
Then got it from GMG with season pass.
Started downloading on Monday it is now Wednesday and it got to 26gigs. When I looked again it was back down to 0%.
Then I see all the problems it is having on PC due to the outsourced porting company.

Went back onto Takealot and I've ordered the PS4 version, which will arrive on Friday.
This means though that I have the PC version with season pass just sitting there. R800 or so down the drain.

The game is amazing on Ps4 but the pc port seems to be a disaster for amd users and that sucks.Developers should rather delay the game than release such a bad port.
