Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (2 GB Memory Minimum) | AMD Radeon HD 7950 (3 GB Memory Minimum)
Ya, Forbes, the foremost gaming news siteI'm with you though, I'm waiting for a steam sale. Got more than enough to keep me busy, and I'm still running a 5850 for now, so I'd rather put some money into a new pc before I buy a new AAA title at launch.
You just have to take a look at the steam reviews to see for yourself bud.
Locking a pc game to 30fps in this day in age? Really? lol
Then there is the incredibly poor optimization and sound issues on top of that.
I definitely will, but after the day 0 bitching and fanboying has died down. I normally look at steam reviews before I but a discounted title. I'm just relieved that I convinced my wife not to pre-order it as a father's day gift!
What. The actual. Fuck.
Disclosure: I'm still reading through your linked article as I'm typing this, so I'm mostly not up to speed as to all the pc issues, but this is ridiculous. Its not as if there was ever a hubbub about 30 vs 60 fps, right?
I'm forgiving to these issues on release, but only for a day or two. I remember Skyrim having sound issues on my machine on day 0, that were fixed within a couple of hours.. Simply, there ain't no test like a release, and all of the issues won't ever be caught before release. That's the nature of PC gaming with our variety of systems, isn't it?
But seriously, 30 fps?! :wtf:
Yip 30fps, unlock to 60 via ini editing, no in game option.
There was a 3.5Gb patch already as far as I know and it's done nothing for the game on the optimization front.
Guys with absolute beast machines (Titan X, Gtx980Ti) are complaining of massive fps drops (60fps down to 15fps) for no apparent reason.
Gpu utilization is all over the place, jumping between 50-99% usage.
Stuttering and generally poor performance no matter what hardware you're running.
My guess...Poor console port.
The game is amazing on Ps4 but the pc port seems to be a disaster for amd users and that sucks.Developers should rather delay the game than release such a bad port.
