The official Witcher 3 thread

I been playing alot of Gwent and I must say it is an awesome mini game also my xp bug seems to only affect story missions.I get xp when I blowup monster nests.

its EPIC. i would love a mobile version where you could play "versus" games

Those look like they are underground. The red arrow below them indicates they are below you.

Yeah also what i thought. No way down tho that i found yet. It was on an open field. No hills or anything. Ran around for about 20 min trying to find some kind of crack or opening. Will continue the search later.

Chances are it is not actually reachable by conventional means, most likely part of story missions where you exit/enter underground caves via portals (the missions with Keira comes to mind...) .

Besides, you do know Geralt hates portals... don't bother finding them ;)

That could very well be. I just have this need in me to find shit if i see it on the mini map.

Hi Guys, just to let you know, after installing the new NVIDIA driver that came out yesterday, the game's performance is now what I would expect it to have been.

The new drivers includes bugfixes and optimizations for Kepler cards, like the GTX 780. So finally NVIDIA stopped being assholes for a change and actually fixed their shit, allowing the game to perform well on the bleddy expensive hardware that you payed for.

If anyone here are still using the 680s and the 780s, do yourself a favour and install the latest NVIDIA driver.

There is a significant FPS gain with using the new driver.

Just finished the game. I'm very happy with the ending I got. I'm definitely going to carry on exploring and leveling Geralt.

After downloading the new drivers game is running a lot better.

Just killed the werewolf :O goodness it was hard. Kept on regenerating its health.

Good! About time everyone can finally play this game "as it's meant to be played" like they (NVIDIA) say. :P

Werewolf fighters:
IGNI and Strong attacks works wonders; level and weapon dependent The first time I attempted this fight, I had a puny, insignificant sword. When I returned (2 levels higher than suggested) wielding a more significant melee weapon, the fight was over almost too quickly!

Burn its ass, slice its ass and dodge its ass. Found this method to be the most useful. You could try AXII and stun its ass. :)

Also, for in case people didn't notice, this game does have some finer details...do not fight Werewolves at night during full moon...just don't. Fight them during the day.....

Good to know - I've never come across one at night, thankfully.
