Ok, tried and tested: I downloaded directly from GoG.com using FDM, installed to the same location that GoGalaxy uses for their games and it is seen from within GoGalaxy. Just make sure within Galaxy that your game directory and where you installed to are the same (ie. C:\GoG Games)
mine came right all on its own. maybe a reboot got it synced. anyways, im now ready and waiting patiently for release![]()
The thing that bothers me is that there is almost no difference between the low and ultra settings on PC. I don't know why they couldn't have kept the detail we saw in the 2014 demo as ultra, for those with the power, and had PS4/Xbone level quality as medium to high. Really strange too because the RedEngine is very scaleable. All those assets exist, why not include them? Stupid console parity.
PC players are what made CDPR into what they are today, by supporting The Witcher games and GOG. Unless the PC day 1 patch is the best patch ever made, I simply don't see how that will make a difference, as they keep on telling us. The PC version doesn't even have MSAA support. The AA slider is literally on or off, which I'm assuming is FXAA. What the hell, this is 2015. So much of the atmosphere is gone in the final build.
Never thought I'd live in a world where Rockstars PC versions are better than CDPR.
Why can't anyone, even Nvidia, get the the final PC build? They keep on saying that they're still working on it. Hmm... feels as if they did the second delay to optimise the consoles, then at the last minute tried to rush the PC version. So much for PC being the lead platform. Tuesday is going to be interesting, for sure.
Well they are actively banning and deleting threads mentioning the downgrades ect on their forum...This is what I want to see about my fav developer...Fucking pathetic CDPR.

But it costs a few fps according to the article. It's still not a huge difference though.
Meh. I'm not fussed about some minor graphical downgrades. I'm more interested in gameplay and storytelling
Here I am trying to get hyped up for the release and you guys just keep complaining about the damn graphics!

I'm just kidding. While I might not agree with you being angry at CDPR I can understand why. I'm just too much of a Witcher fan to care. I remember seeing the trailer for the first game on a NAG disc many years ago. The moment I saw that trailer I became a fan. I've since then read the books and finished the first two games multiple times. I have the logo tattoed on my wrist and the 5 magical signs on the fingers of my right hand. I have been waiting for W3 since the day it got announced and no matter how many downgrades there are I am still going to play and enjoy the shit out of it. Even it's buggy as hell I will still love it.
This man, this man plays games. Not platforms or graphics. Recently many people forgot the reason games are made, as a form of entertainment.
I also recall this happening with Watch_Dogs but people still had a good time playing the game.
Agreed, but each will have something about the game that is important including the gameplay etc. So when Joker gets hacked off that he has pimped his machine to enjoy the full graphical glory, one can also understand that?
Change of topic, confirmation that the tattoo from TW2 carries over if you import a save on PC. Yes!
