As it turns out, Alt+Tab(ing) the game in Fullscreen mode is a bad idea. Restart is required.

Not sure if anyone elaborated about this, this is actually quite a bigger thing than i thought. We are talking characters showing in Witcher 3 (from Witcher 2) based on what you did in Witcher 2 . Apparently entire quest lines will be available or not available . I got no clue what the "Default" is and if it implies that nothing of W2 will show up ...i can't imagine that the "Default" will assume you kept anyone alive...

I just got to the part where you get asked these questions (i turned simulate on), it is unfortunately quite a distance into the game before this (basically after the first zone (white orchard) complete) , so if you missed turning this on, you will have to start over.

For those that do not remember W2, here is a nice recap with all the main decisions. The questions i got was basically the main ones in the link:

i.e. the guy will ask who you sided with (the elves or the blue stripes) , did you kill Aryan, did you kill Sile, did you kill Letho ... need i say more?

Just got the enhanced versions of the two Griffen set swords. Will try to finish up getting the rest of the diagrams tonight, but I'm not sure if I'm going to craft the armour since I much prefer the look of the Feline set armour.
 
I was given the option to choose from a save file (The Witcher 2); I have many and chose the latest but I don't think it was one on which I finished the game.
 
Can I just say that Nvidia's witcher driver is a piece of shit.

Even though the Witcher needs some optimizing, this driver is the cause of a lot of issues.
Alt + Tab into firefox causes driver stops and forces a restart, I've now tested it on multiple machines.
My other games also seem to suffer because of this driver...Fucking annoying!!!!!!!!!!

nope, ALT+TAB in proper full screen works just fine. its the "borderles windowed" mode that cannot alt+tab. check settings to make sure you ae set to proper full screen :)
 
Jeez the second area is so much bigger. Damn witch

so went through all the keira quests cause i knew i could tap that strange. What a bitch. Poor thing. Had to put her down.

Think that's exactly where I am at the moment too. I keep getting blown up by something exploding and dunno what's causing it.

i am also struggling at a point like that. Its a treasure hunt quest for witcher gear. Whole damn place is full of poison. I get a few steps in and die. Very irritating.

I sent her to Kaer Morhen in the hopes I can "see" her again.
 
When starting the game from the exe and not through Galaxy I can not Alt+Tab unless I have Task Manager opened as well - annoying but not uncommon.
 
I just had to make the hardest decision I've ever been faced with in gaming:

I had to make a decision between Yennefer and Triss and now I have to stick to it for the rest of the game.
 
Hate the fact that its monday tomorrow and that i have to stop playing now.

Man this game is dark sometimes. I like it. The quests feel like real issues. Not the normal, go here, fetch that. It has some substance to it.
