The official Witcher 3 thread

Just out of curiosity, are you guys going to be playing the dlc on NG+ , I'm trying to wrap up everything before the last quest and was wondering if I finish the game if the DLc will feel disconnected
 
I want to play the expansion in NG+, but depending on where in the game it opens up I might play it on my first playthrough savegame. If it opens up fairly early I will do it in NG+, only played up to the baron so far.
 
How to start Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone expansion quest

Players who purchased the first Witcher 3 expansion Hearts of Stone, can start the Hart of Stone quest line in one of three ways listed below:

1.Select “Fresh Start”
The first quest of Hearts of Stone will automatically be added to your Journal once you complete the Prologue of the base game. Embark on this quest once you have gained enough experience recommended character level 30+.
2.Load a previously saved game
The first quest of Hearts of Stone will automatically be added to your Journal, provided that you previously completed the Prologue of the base game. Embark on this quest once you have gained enough experience recommended character level 30+.
3.Select “Hearts of Stone Only”
Start playing the expansion using a specially prepared character developed to level 32 and possessing a predefined array of gear and set of Abilities.

You should give it another go man. It really isn't complicated or anything like that. Best game within a game ever and I really can't wait to start playing it IRL tonight.
 
The 1.10 patch didn't fix the Most Wanted of Skellige quest :|

Still waiting for my HoS to arrive, but I am not quite done with the final quests in the base game. Should be done tonight. Hopefully I get my expansion today so it can download overnight.
 
I've probably overlooked something but is there a reason Yrden doesn't work on Jenny of the woods? That fight is really getting frustrating.

Edit - fixed it by loading an older save.

How do I learn a new ability?

On screen it says "Click "rectangular button" I don't have such a button on the controller.

Just highlight the skill you want to unlock and press square. You can then assign the skill to a slot with X.

Press square on the skill you want on the left to level it up. Then press X. It will highlight over on the right side in one of the open slots. Make sure you take one that doesn't have a lock symbol on it.
 
And so after Who know how many hours and about 3 months I finally finished witcher 3. My life feels empty now it's so weird :p
