And Im back in the office finally. Shame had to take our cleaning lady to the doctors - she is trying to claim from the road accident fund for a hit and run that happened to her in 2008. At least she only has 3 more docs to see and then we will find out if she gets anything.

Thats retarded, she is trying to take advantage and try get money out of an incident that happened 3 years ago. Tell her to get a life and actually do some real work for a change. Sorry I have no compassion for stupid people such as herself.

Syco, normally I would agree with you, but not in this case.

She has been working for us for 15 years, had started the claim from the road accident fund in July 2008. Its only now that she has received a court date and so forth. Her claim is very valid. She had a dislocated shoulder, broken upper left arm, broken right hip. The doctors assessing her now had already seen her medical details from her 1month hospitalisation, the physio we took her took when it happened. She is in constant pain, not always obvious to us, she hates to complain. She was crossing the road at a robot (it happened near where we live as she was on her way to work). A taxi ran the red light hitting her - since it also happened right in front of an Engen petrol station, she has a load of witnesses.

Oh and she still has the pins in her arms and hip.

Ja but still, if you're determined to get the claim from the Road accident fund, it should be held off for so long regardless of whether or not she left it for so long or they (the RAF) could only sort it out now. If a person is desperate they should be pushing and be a pain in the ass towards the RAF, I can assure you that if you push hard enough they will become so annoyed that they would be forced to get you sorted and out of their hair.

So thats why I say, it's bs to leave it for so long, regardless of who left it to hang in the balance.
