You are working under the assumption that I dont want kids. The only reason we haven't started really trying is because we need to come to SA in May next year & My wife only graduates with her Masters in Sept/Oct. If she got pregnant in the next few months she wouldn't be able to fly, as you cant fly if you are more than 7 months pregnant or we would end up on a 12 hour flight with a 2 month old. We agreed that in Oct we will start planning with the hope of only actually getting pregnant in Jan/Feb.

I think I recall you saying y'all discussed trying to start a family later in the year (or it could be the caffeine making me think I recall such), in any case the idea is now in her head.

Oh we did yeah, but later in the year = just that, later. But since its spring here its full on Baby Season, she also works at the London Zoo where she is doing her Thesis and the moms love taking their kids to the zoo.

Looking forward to going home and shooting people. In the face. With a Desert Eagle or AK-47.
It's cathartic.

Thinking about blowing stuff up elevates my mood considerably.

Nope I knew you are planning it, but the plan is just to calm her hormones down a little.

Wouldn't work, she was babysitting her Brothers and Sister this past weekend, which is 6, and game back more determined. Also spent some time with her cousins the youngest of which is 1 year old.

Uncharted.

I did try Viking, but got stuck, and then annoyed.

My imagination serves to supplement the violence somewhat.
If I try hard enough, even dropping in on Koopas in Super Mario 3D World can be satisfyingly visceral. :p

Lol Uncharted is fun for that.

@Omega: I take it that she knows about the pain of childbirth, and all the things that can go wrong.

Mebbe you could convince her that you despise children and would make a terrible father. Misanthropes probably do.
Has she calculated the cost of raising offspring?
If all else fails, there are surgical procedures.

Ain't that a little extreme?

Well I am pretty much as Broody as she is.

Then how about just letting yourselves buy one baby item a month - start stocking up on the stuff like diapers and wipes and clothes and bibs? It kept one of my friends sane whilst she was waiting to fall pregnant. It took her 8 months after stopping birth control to get pregnant. So in the end by the time her boy was born they had most of the stuff they needed and it let her faff and ooh and aah whilst knowing that at some point she would have her kid.

/prepares March of the Omegalings
