standard one, i would have loved a turbo but just the cost of replacing a blown turbo makes me shudder

Ok, still awesome cars. Drove the 1.8 and was pretty impressed with it.

Grims I don't need the speed - plus I spend R400 every 2 weeks on petrol and you??? :P

If I want speed I go to Killarney :D

I spend pretty much the same as you then. I fill up normally once a month if I am not travelling a lot and that costs about R700.

Dunno, I guess what Wenz says, I don't drive like a maniac. Occasionally I will open her up, but seldom. I get about 550 - 600 k's off a tank, if its highway driving then I can easily get 700 - 750 off a tank. And remember the 2.0T is actually better on fuel than the 1.8, same weight car so the smaller engine does more work. Don't get me wrong, if I drive it like I stole it I would go through a lot more fuel.

by driving within the speed limit and not driving around in peekhour traffic.

Or living within 5 mins of work and not driving all over the show? Altho I do drive a fair bit - I do only about 450km every 2 weeks :P

meh i drive a yaris... being a dude and driving one of those just doesnt work... i get ragged mercilessly :/
Id dig an A3 Avante Audi... that in black... mmmm
