Tell me about it. Wanna know something really depressing... on the 24th of March at 2pm its 30 days to the minute till i get married... SO So much to do.

The organizing and planning i can deal with, the cost... OMG the cost. R14K just for food. Fucking insanity. Then i need to fight it out with my mother in law as she wants a round bridal table, have you ever seen a round bridal table? I use to work at a hotel where we did 2 weddings every weekend most weekends of the year and let me tell you in more than 200 weddings i have NEVER seen a round table set up as a bridal table.

Oh I forgot, mothers-in-law ! Isn't a bridal table normally a long table ?

You are correct, since with a round table somebody will be sitting with their back to the rest of the guests blocking the view of my lovely bride. Then they wanted to put the round table in the fucking middle of the room. I have never heard such a fucked up idea in my life. So i put my foot down, straight table against one of the walls where EVERYONE can see me and the bride. Ive compromised on everything else, this is getting done my way.

I was unable to log in to this site yesterday and was beginning to think that I had been banned for some or other reason.
Did any of you experience similar difficulties?

Yeah you're right, every single wedding I've ever been to has the bridal couple and the family at the back of the hall at a LONG TABLE so that everybody can see them.

My Mother-in-law is french, and i dunno how well u know the french but they are fucking annoying. She especially so. Neurotic is the word i would use. Now the weddings i worked at was in the UK so they cant even say the straight tables are south african traditions. Im going to have a straight table, no ifs or buts about it.
