The Verge

Heya unexpected girl

I found this rather true:

My lady used to make fun of me for liking PC & Xbox games (even though she bought me Dirt2 for my burpday, w00t!) ... but after the first time she played Burnout Paradise & Discovered the "Boost" button, she's hooked!

you seeeeeeeeeee!!!! :D damn I'm good... ;)

Oh btw, UG... I also bought a copy of Burnout Paradise for my bro's fiance. Now I'm no thinking man's man, but I'm fairly certain there's a fine line between "getting hooked by a game" and "getting crazy-eyes" whenever she hits boost.

Seriously...I don't know what it is with girls and that game. Plus, she's a ginger, so if I disturb her while she plays it she might bite me...and there's no cure for gingervitus. :(

EDIT: Thanks for the Zoopy info folks. :)

Yeh some of us arent that fortunate :p but thank goodness for the interwebz we're able to watch the reviews online and without Adverts :p

Totally!

The Verge and GameState totally fist bump. It's like that scene in Predator where Arnie grabs Dutch's arm. Intense.

I think she married a black guy.
Yes, I actually happened to hop to Verge while it was on (last 10 minutes I think) and Pippa was doing her thing...

Just a quick feedback before I continue...

I still found the SMS / scrollies and colors a bit irritating and yes, it is rather dark... you guys saving on electricity or something or is it in a garage? ;)
The vids I saw were OK... I didn't really listen to what she was saying, just checking out what was going on, on the screen and checking her out... I do remember checking out the tat on her arm and that she wore a tight-fitting white t-shirt.

Anyway, I digress.

I hopped between channels for a while as they covered some kiddy stuff towards the end, or that's what it looked like... and then the show ended and I saw it...

Pippa Tshabalala
(I looked several times to make sure I wasn't seeing wrong, so the spelling should be correct)
and yes, I was a bit surprised and whatnot, but w/e *shrug*

Oh well.

EDIT: Welcome to MyGaming btw UnexpectedGirl (what is so unexpected about being a girl anyway?) ;)

Oooh, I forgot about this thread

Jinne, UnexpectedGirl is a looker.. Mr. Tshabalala is a lucky man ;)

Have to hold my own, though, I'm still sodding gorgeous.

Even if it is a bit less, relatively speaking :(

On a more serious note, the only gaming show you have to use as influence (read: copy verbatim, plagiarize, steal) is Cybernet. I'm sure we all remember how much it rocked..

EDIT/DISCLAIMER: A quick reminder that I haven't ever seen the Verge, no DSTV for me, so I can't actually compare my Cybernet comment to what it's like ATM. For all I know, the Verge already is Cybernet. :D

and here is a quick reminder for you :D go to the Verge website you can see a reply of the shows on there... I find its easier for me because I hate adverts :p

Where does PlayR fit into this whole 'The Verge'-business?
I got the impression it was part of it, yet it has a different name... I could swear that was PippA's voice on the reviews...???

Now this (PlayR) is a show I do not mind watching, at all.

It is a British production and she just uses her voice in it.

PlayR is a part of The Verge as a time slot, but it was the first show we produced. It's an internationally syndicated production where we do all the presenter links and voice over.

I don't under stand what that is meant to mean. Is it produced by russian gangsters:eek:
