Though I am happy they are branching out to console(s) also my biggest fear is, what i like to call, sequel-tie-in syndrome. Since Witcher 2 is a sequel to Witcher 1 there should, in theory, be info taken for granted in 2 that was given in 1. So for console owners who didn't play the original there are going to be... blank spaces. Some inside jokes, i dont know. Think Mass Effect 2 on PS3 but no Mass Effect 1. If memory serves BioWare created a comic or something to help the transition but even so, having played both Mass Effects, i can think of several points in ME2 that wouldn't not have been the same without having played the original. This could hurt the games reception, not saying it will, but it could.
Hopefully the devs can figure someway around this coz us guyz who play RPGs would notice such things and it would reduce enjoyment of the titles. Something Im sure nobody wants.
