Sooooooo, i experienced the joyous occasion of watching my PS3 die on my last night...yes you xbox fanboys and pc hippies, have your say now okay. Laugh at my discomfort and sadness...
i'm dead inside...just watching that red light flashing back at me is soul destroying...sniff sniff...and the only guy that can fix it is in Pretoria...why does this have to happen a week after I've left Joburg?

nah, it supposedly happens because of overheating. Strange, as it's been fine for the past 2 1/2 years, sitting in exactly the same place, running day in and day out...don't know what happened this time round. Anyway, I can fix it. Gotta take it to a guy in Pretoria...R600 later and my baby oughta be back to her good ol self.
Atleast I still have my PC and Xbox to keep me company in the mean time...although it does mean no MW2 for a week...sniff sniff

Well i take it they are already being payed for like overtime and stuff??? all you can say to them is that atm you cant afford to pay them more for overtime and they must just deal with it... also say that they dont see you getting extra pay at this current stage.... hopefully that will get some sense into their heads

if ur constantly leaving it on for long periods of time... leaving it in the same spot and not dusting that area on a regular basis then small things like that will cause those issues

well the thing is you cant upgrade a PS3 and i would assume Sony need to make their money somehow by either implementing bugs within their systems and install "time bombs" just waiting for those heat syncs in the console just waiting to go....
without those people woulnt have jobs....

looooooooooooool but dude comeon there are places that ur gonna miss and not think to dust etc... and yeh i can understand you do switch off ur console.... but what im saying is leaving it on for extended periods of time will cause malfunction... it happens and no ones blaming you for causing it to fall apart but you just gotta look at possible causes....
