Stop blaming me for my mistakes, okaaaaaaay? Gaaaaaawd! It's the machine's fault...not mine...I gave it love...and care...and bought it fancy new games every month, and then it goes and betrays me by just giving up...how could it...just take its own life...the horror

Well thats what you get for buying a console, it dies and it's expensive to fix. PC, it dies and it just needs a format. or you just need to replace a cable for no more than R100, or even less if you have spares lying around from older computers.

Boet what planet are you living on? :p

Ever heard of a motherboard blowing? R2 K GFX card blowing? PSU blowing? Hard drive crashing?

PC's are FAR from cheap to repair and I would say they are probably more likely to fail than a PS3 for example.

Dont forget upgrades dude... those are just as pricey.... Most PC's end up being 3times more costly than consoles... :)

CHURCH!

Preach that truth brotha! Dude, with graphics cards for PC's costing up to R9000...I would dread the thought of having one of them die on you and you have to replace it. My PS3 has been running for 2 1/2 years...no troubles...no needed upgrades and setting tweaks to be able to play a game...and this is the first problem I have...I'm happy.

The last time I had troubles with my PC...I ended up R6000 and a new PC later...and all I wanted was a new graphics card...but then you need the new motherboard, and now your old ram and cpu doesn't work, so you gotta replace that too, and suddenly your old case appears kak...i'll stick to my mocha mamma...my liqourice lova...my beatiful black box ;)

Only if your an idiot and shunt the thing around like it was a wrestler.

Or if you have sex with it without protection... >.> you didn't hear that!

Way more expensive. I mean you can buy a brand new Xbox elite for R3300, a decent gaming PC is going to cost is way more than that!

Exactly.... we also gotta remember that PC doesnt cater for software that we need as minimum requirements etc... etc... whereas Xbox and PS3 all have those integrated already :)

And I would say that your case is unfortunate because PS3's don't normally fail...:(

Consoles just work, no fsking around tweaking GFX, upgrading drivers, getting viruses because of ze pr0n. :D

I have both a PC and a Xbox, I always thought PC's were superior until I got my Xbox and realised how as I said, they just work.

And god forbid the thing breaks into two pieces and is not repairable, it won't cost me an arm and a leg to replace.

True that and you can just sommer go out and buy a new one without it costing you a fortune.... you also dont have to stress about registering ur games etc.... whereas ur PC if you register it and ur PC crashes most DRM require you to re-register online and thats one major pain in the ass

lol, yeah poor bugger

Maybe it was ze weed fumes that fried ze board el capitain?

Hey nothing wrong with smoking a little bit of green :p i plan on doing it as I get to CT next year.... im telling Capt puff now that he and I are gonna hook up for a smoke session on das mountain :p

PCs RULE! BEATS CONSOLES IN ALMOST EVERY WAY! SO DON"T GET ME STARTED :D

not necessarely you pretty much gotta weigh out the differences here
