War is disgusting and there is nothing to be proud about in it. war brings dishonnor to all who partake, the survivors and the ones who die. Win or lose, its a black mark. But for the greater good. a war that end in the right results, is a nessecity.
 
Dont think i am a war monger, I think alot what I say is the result of to many years of playing games.

Yes, but the question boils down to where does it stop? Sterilising criminals, good. What about red heads, since they're much more sensitive to the light? What about people with blue eyes, since their eyes are possibly much weaker? It would all be for the benefit of all in the end, right?

The problem is that when you take away a freedom, you start offering up all freedoms, because slowly but surely, it starts seeming like a better idea.

As another person has said before, the job of a government is to protect you, not police you.

What China does... In a strange, way, I agree with. I don't like it, but it works. I'm also pro-death penalty, as long as it's a sentence carried out after at least 10 years, when appeals, evidence and all prove, without a shadow of doubt, that the person is guilty. Rapists, murderers and those who have caused the deaths and suffering of thousands of others either by inaction or bad governance proved beyond reasonable doubt should be tried in such a way.
 
Take the Nazis for example. in the long run they actualy had the right idea, in the short run, they aimed it at the wrong people, with the wrong methods, and the wrong morals. It was a campagne built on brittle pride.

I agree with you. I got blue eyes so that would be bad. Unless its nazi ideals. But I think people should just stop having so many kids

I agree... Sometimes there are battles that just need to be fought... But those who fight for blind faith, blind allegiance and without thought, conscience or concern... Sick.

watch the doc the soviet story. Download it. People who was nazi ideals would have lived in paradise. Take me I am blond and blue eyes so I would be the perfect person to the nazis. But it fails. The nazis and soviets were basicaly the same.

thats the 1st chapter the novel i'm writing. It outlines my own personal beliefs of what is worth fighting for.

My ideas of what happens after the war is a automated computerised system governs the people along side a board of voted individuals, the main role of the AI is a detective that can observe all without any invading rights. It cannot be corrupted with greed or intimidated with fear. Basicly it plays the legal role of the perfect whitness, while the people make the final decisions.

The result, strict, but ultimatly fair laws. little tolerance for the worst of humanity.

Also, humans will be clasifide in two groups that are completely different species.
Homo sapien - maximus and minimus

Maximus are humans and enjoy the rights and priveliges that comes with beieng a sentient species. Minimus are animals, cattle, and are subject to whatever the maximus set them to. work, food, science.

All humans are born maximus, no matter who the parents are, once there 18, they have to prove themselves worthy of being in the maxsimus lineage. to become a minimus, all you have to do is become a criminal.

Would depend on what is considered a crime, the gravity of the crime, what the current age of consent and legal age for whatever is and generally a lot of other nagging variables that would be involved. The problem with a computer overseer type thing is that it is still man-made and would likely never be "perfect."

Otherwise, I like the idea :D

It doesn't need to be "perfect" it just needs to understand the law, and never betray the law, and it's own interpretation of the the law is the only interpretation. (thus removing lawyers from the system)

Basicly it won't ever lie, and it won't fall to greed and fear. it won't record private moments and releace them to hurt others, it won't be judgemental and biased based on personal relationships. And thats it's role. it will observe everything it can, private or not, and it will report any criminal activity truthfully without changing the details it had observed.

theres the old sentient skynet issue. the back-up is that it can't actualy do anything, its an advisor. and thats where it ends.
