I guess it's a personal choice if a woman would prefer to choose a ring, but then you don't get to surprise her with a proposal.

But congrats that you're getting married. Good things come to people with PS4's. :P

Oh lol sorry. I was just hoping that the proposal wasn't him saying you must pick a ring.
 
I would say it's more proper for him to choose a ring and surprise you, but it's a big thing and if he isn't confident that he can choose something that you will like forever, it might be better for you to choose or at least point out some options that you would like.
