Hi TK

I've heard the audio book is read by Samuel L Jackson.

Edit:

Then the driving part was the difficult part for me. I reached for them so often. Even when stopped at robots, if I got a whiff of it I would start looking around to find that bastard. Climb outa my car and go punch them in the face. (at least that's what I felt like doing) =P

Do you drive a Porsche when in Gauteng by any chance?

Hi everyone.

To all the Batmen, and Bruce Waynes (there's only one Supes/Clark up in here :p), what are your thoughts on the picture of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman?

You don't have to be a DC character to share your thoughts :p:D

Weird, my girlfriend's dad says that, I didn't realise it was a TV thing until now.

OK, kids. Gather 'round for a lesson in ancient TV:

The show was called "Willem" with Tobie Cronje in the lead. Sadly, I can't find a clip on youtube.
It was about a plaasjapie that moved to the city and became a private investigator.
The quote in question was a running gag in the show. He would phone home on a regular basis and the viewers would only see and hear his end of the conversation. At the end of the call he'd ask his mother (who is a bit deaf) about their prized milk cow, Trixie's, teats.

So he'd say: "Hoe gaan dit met Trixie se spene, Ma?"
(How are Trixie's teats, Mom?)
pause
Shouts: "TRIXIE SE SPENE, MA
(TRIXIE'S TEATS, MOM)
pause
Talks: "Ek skree nie, Ma"
(I'm not shouting, Mom)
pause
Shouts: "EK SKREE NIE, MA"
(I'M NOT SHOUTING, MOM)

Lucy Lawless said the same thing (Xena).

Needs more bright colours.

I think it's just the editing done to fit the tone of the rest of the picture reveals that were done for Superman and Batman.

Not sure if it's the final cut though.

I agree with your casting choice, but truth is, the cards are drawn and we have what we have. Now we'll have to wait and see what DC/WB is cooking up for the movie. I have faith though since I thoroughly enjoyed Man of Steel (even with some of the problems it had). I won't lie though, I like this costume because it's not overly sexualised (I prefer this style over the swimsuit look of some the comics), it's got roots originating from ancient greek armor (depending on which continuity you look for in the comics, she's considered a somewhat Greek deity), and even the way they took the picture; it's not about eye candy, she looks like she's about to kick ass. One can obviously nitpick things here and there but overall it looks good IMO. I just hope she can pull the role off, since these guys are essentially trying to "Heath Ledger" most of their casting choices (except for Henry Cavill; he is Superman).

I wasn't always this zen towards announcements concerning this movie though :o. After listening to some Kevin Smith podcasts and mulling it over, I warmed up to what this movie is trying to do. I think it'll a good movie, how good though, is up to them.
