That first cold beer went down like a dream.

Also had a nice cold one now. :) And finished Assassin's Creed Revelations which was surprisingly good.

Ugh and tomorrow I'm back at work. Just two more days to go and then it's holiday time.

Ok Gin ran out. Trying Plum mampoer (homemade) from the Czech Republic with tonic. It's actually quite nice.

The finished trestle. Crzwaco

He returns to the thread after many hiatuses?

Eh man, it's not preferable, but available.

I miss being one of the most active members within this thread. If I were better equipped I'd frequent here more often.

Anyway, how y'all doing? Admittedly, I'm especially missing Nisi - have not spoken to that chica for quite some time. Aside from that, I don't feel close to anyone on the forum anymore (likely due to my lack of presence). Lately I only ever come on to check what's latest without bothering to post.

Anyway, I'm up early, got a long road travelling tomorrow.

Morning peoples!

Back at work but only for today and tomorrow. Over the weekend it felt like I was on holiday already.

Hiya, all.

I'm also on the job. At least I have two days off on the 24th and 28th. Normally I don't get to take time off during December but I twisted my manager's arm a little so that I can go visit my parents for Christmas. She was surprisingly nice about it, given that we are already on a skeleton staff.

Hi Mister. I'm glad that you are getting some days off at least. Why may you not take time off during December when the rest of your staff may?

Somebody needs to keep the place running. December is traditionally a very busy time in agriculture with wheat being harvested. Sadly, this year the harvests won't be very big because of the drought.

True. But on the other hand I get to go on leave in April or July when everybody else starts moaning they need a vacation.

That's very true. This year I went on holiday in beginning May and by September I was complaining that I need a holiday. :)

We really need more leave days. I feel so refreshed when I get back that I can work a lot better. I wish bosses realise that.

Morning

Meh got woken up early after struggling to sleep. Waiting for a techie to come fix our doorbell. Also mozzies needs to go away. My feet cant get bitten any more
