So, on the one hand, I really need to go home and have myself a lie down, but on the other hand if I hold out for a few hours more, I may get a shiny loot drop in the form of an actual working GPU....time to take two spoons of cement and harden the f@ck up I think...

I agree. You can't be at work when you are feeling bad. What if you have a bug and give it to other people? Go home, start up Fallout 4, relax and get more pseudo radiation sickness.

Also, speaking of GPU's, I have a conundrum. My wife currently has a GTX670 in her PC and I have a GTX980. I also have a GTX970 sitting in it's packaging for quite a while now.

I don't know if I should sell the 970 (I can get R5k+ for it) or if I should put it in my wife's PC and sell the 670 (Can MAYBE get R2k for it, but probably less). I bought The Division for both of us so we can play together, but I'm not sure how the 670 will handle the game. It is better than the minimum spec, but recommended is a 970.

Thoughts?

Slap the 970 in your wife's PC and sell the 670. No use letting the 970 gather dust.

Cool well I hope that GPU arrives today and that you don't sit and suffer for no reason.

Ideally you should make sure that everyone knows you don't feel well. Then when the card arrives you get out of there. :)

I would put the 970 in your wife's machine and make it a bit more future proof. That's what I did with my wife's machine.

Well there seems to be a consensus. My wife won't even notice :D
Or perhaps Mohjang Titans will now be so much faster...

I also created a thread a couple of years ago on how to ignore someone completely. You will find it in the How To section. It was when Graal made me so angry that I couldn't stand the sight of him anymore. :)

Hmmm or Jan created the thread. Or some other admin. I can't actually remember.
