I can't find any reference where the definition for clickbait says that it has to be misleading. Perhaps you're confusing the term with "bait-and-switch"?

Fair enough, perhaps the perseption of what is clickbait is distorted by the fact that throughout the internet, clickbait has been used to draw people into shady sites full of popup adds and questionable content. Clickbait started getting hatred in 2014 (as your link so helpfully mentions) because people got sick of being duped into clicking on links and going to shady websites with less than stellar accuracy or facts. Perhaps its not just me that links the term "clickbait" with "bait-and-switch". But the fact is that clickbait has a negative connotation, yet it's a perfectly valid online marketing strategy, if taken by it's official definition you linked. If done properly, it can quite successfully generate traffic to a site. Which is why it shouldn't be a problem that it be used.

We don't even know who you are anymore. :( Like a ghost from the past, whispering in our ear, ever watchful but never really here.

I saw it, I did! I just wasn't here yet, that's all!

From the Clickbait definition:
especially at the expense of quality or accuracy,
It was an accurate headline, leading to an interesting article. There's not much more one can write than was written in the article without turning it into a thermodynamics textbook, but it was interesting and though provoking enough that I commented in the thread. I don't see a sacrifice of quality or accuracy here.

Do you disagree with me on this? Or is your gripe solely with the headline?

the accuracy may be debatable, but quality is a factor too.

Then again, the article starts off with "One incredible trick" and ends with "this is merely an observation of a twitter user". So how incredible was it really?

Morning, everyone. Slept from 1 am till 11 am to make up for lost sleep during the "week". Today is small chores and gaming!

"Hurry up and wait." My favourite, unofficial Eskom slogan.

I've been at work since 07:00 and I'm still waiting to do what I came to work for. Great stuff
