Dankie! Wife is being discharged now. Tests came back clear, except for a growth on her liver, which the doc wants to monitor each year. Just hoping the medical aid pays without complaints, because the doc was joking about how expensive the MRI was...

Glad to hear that! MRI's are expensive in general, but IIRC medical aids don't really have an issue with paying for them. Although, I did have mine back in 2003..

Well, our medical bills for the year stand at close to R60k already due to all the tests, specialists and so on. Next year better be a healthy year!

They should if it was done while admitted to hospital, else it comes out of some "benefit" depending on the fund and plan you are on. You can have a "Scanning and Screening benefit" that is over and above your normal benefits.

My dentist appointment was just moved from 2pm to 11 so meh the stress is starting early, and the freaking out is setting in, but then again when its done its over for this year!

thanks Waco! niks koek gekry nie maar het a klein breakfast buffet gehad vroeer en het 'n badsakkie as a going away gift gekry(yay me)

gister was cherry op die koek dag though. ons server het nou al vir die hoeveelste keer in n maand gekak(ons was deur weerlig raakgeslaan so maand terug en omtrent als is gefry gewees) en ons it is mos so slim deur niemand workability te gee as ons server nie werk nie, so ons het heeldag gister gesit en niks doen nie want ons kani eers word op die pc's oopgemaak het nie. so toe ruim ons maar die kantoor op en etc en doen als wat mens gewoonlik nie tyd het voor nie. toe dit klaar is het ek belsuit ek gaan kaart speel want ons magi huistoe gaan nie en toe word ek uitegekak oor ek sit en games speel en nie werk nie. daars vir my gese om by ander ppl in die kantoor te gaan hoor of hulle hulp nodig het met iets en as hulle nie het nie moet ek die kantoor uitsuig want ons kani niks doen nie ons word betaal om te werk. in my lewe was ek nog nooit so disgusted met 'n plek nie!

Amazing what stress and worry takes a toll on your body.

This past week has been a kak one; lost a family member, broke up with gf, suffering sleep issues as a result, lost my appetite, stressing about shit (money, accounts, rent, xmas, family, etc), breaking out in pimples, mouth ulcers, wisdom teeth, hot summer days and nights..... urgh!

Crap. Back at the hospital. My wife just got home and started with severe diarrhea and vomiting. So the doc said it's straight back to hospital. And now I have to take my wife's colleague to the airport as well tomorrow morning at 04:00. So much for a relaxing December.
