Yep especially the ones from the TV licence people who is looking for a Mrs Bucho on my number for the licence. Also using the sms app - that comes with truecaller - it is awesome!

I thought truecaller uses your contact details and sends it off, thats how they know which numbers are which. Werent they involved in some privacy controversy?

It might have, but in all honesty, I prefer knowing who is calling me, and being able to block spam callers

It basically associates numbers with what it gets on Google and a lot of its user generated . That's why you get names like F.off if it's spam
