C# I learned on the job. :)

Back when I studied we studied C/C++ and basically they explained a concept and you had to understand it before you could move on. I studied at CTI so every week you had an exam and only if you passed the exam you could continue with the course. And you had a project for every couple of concepts. I hope that explains it.

If you need help with anything let me know.

Also check out SoloLearn, I use it quite a bit as a refresher.

thanks Soli, with this C# course it just sometimes feels like they are not actually teaching us anything and expect us to just copy whats in the textbook. im finding a lot of tutorials online which have been explaining things better.

That's sucky. Your best bet would be to just take those examples in the textbook and play with them. It's the quickest way to learn to code.

ja but sometimes there is quite a few things missing form the code(im not sure if was done on purpose or if its just a plain mistake) i have realised though this place that im doing the course through is quite overpriced for what they offer...i just finished the first set of C#labs and i need to book to write my MTA exam(want to get that one out of the way this year still|)

I'm sorry to hear that the place is overpriced for what you get. And good luck with the exam!

And seriously though, if you need any help let me know. Even if I help you over Teamviewer or something. I've been coding for hmmm almost 20 years now. Crikey, writing that makes me feel old.
