Top 5 overhyped games in recent times

Check out which games suffered from a serious case of hype, and failed to wow us upon release

I remember playing the MOH beta multiplayer and I told eveyone its going to disapoint and well it did I felt like a sheep going to slaughter since the maps where so limited with 2 or 3 pathways and well people just camp those spots so you can never get anywhere and if you shoot them they respawn behind you hahaha what a joke.

I so badly wanted to play watchdogs untill I saw what it has become.

Lol luckily not! Bought them 2nd hand when they got cheaper they looked cool, but when I played them myself it was a completely different experience.

I enjoyed Watch dogs and the Bad blood dlc isn't too bad. I think that NFS the Run should also be included, the series took a nose dive after that one.

Hah, poor Watch_Dogs! I played it all the way through with zero expectations and rather enjoyed it. That said I paid less than R100 for it.

I also played MoH SP to completion and it felt like a CoD cousin nobody likes to talk about, but it's still good enough to teach you how to kiss... Or so I am told...

Haze guys...at least the rest of the games on this list can claim to be mediocre whereas Haze was a caricature of what a game is supposed to be. It was bad enough that we asked for refund...FROM RENTING IT!

Medal honor - Don't remember it being all that hyped.
Haze - never heard of it, so can't say I ever thought it was over-hyped.

I vaguely remember reading some hype surrounding Haze back when the PS3 was launched. I remember black and yellow helmeted soldiers in the promo pictures... Or something of the kind.

I'm of the opinion that the reason for this is because it's the easiest genre to screw up..... "whistling:

Long gone are the days of Half-Life, Quake, Doom and Bioshock.

That said..... we did have some excellent ones last year. Wolfenstein: New Order was fantastic and the SP of COD: Advanced Warfare was pretty good as well......
