lol, think of it this way, the game was originally scheduled for a 2014 release.... but yeah, I know what you mean, the brain understands (the long overdue release date for hopefully a great game) but the heart not so much....

Mayby try another game with a good story, have you tried Oxenfree, its nothing intense, just a great story, I freaking loved that game. I'm going to try Resonance and perhaps Undertale before Torment gets released.

I keep hearing this game utilizes tech from Pillars of Eternity. Does anyone know how similar the two are, maybe someone who played the Early Access?

I really didn't like the gameplay in Pillars and I'd be heartbroken if this one followed that formula.
