Uncapped....what do you download?

Ever since iBurst started the whole "free internet after 12:00 am" I have been downloading a lot of HD videos from Gametrailers.com, something I could not do before. Usually I had to wait for the new NAG to see new game trailers, but now I can download all of them.

I always thought that when I finally get uncapped I'd download "everything". Now that I have it, I've downloaded nothing more than I normally would have. Plus side, Steam is no longer my enemy.

The big bonus is that you don't have to keep your eye on your bandwidth usage. And of course, if something comes up suddenly that you do want to download - you don't have to worry about it either. Especially where Steam is concerned.

Where should i get my uncapped can i get some advise, does it mean I can play local and intenational as much as I want, will they just cut me off?

Mweb and Afrihost are probably your best options at the moment. At least, those are the two I'm looking at - there are others.

Hows the speed for Mweb im looking at paying R540 a month for uncapped fastest according to Mweb,is it worth it

Speed was bad about 4 days ago but the speed are good now. downloading at 350 - 400+Kb/s. I love mweb cause I've done about 200GB+ and they don't complain

thx for the advise im gonna go with mweb paying R540 month for uncapped then im gonna start gaming again :)

I DL Tv series mostly now I even try stuff I haven't heard off cause I dont have to think of the Band with

BTW, having uncapped doesn't mean you always have to be downloading something in some kind of mad frenzy to get your moneys worth.

What? 0.o

Of course it does!! :D

Jokes aside - like I said - it just removes the main worrying point for myself about either becoming capped or running over my data bundle. I'll download when there is stuff worth downloading, and I won't where there isn't. I probably won't even use that much data, I expect and average month would be around 4 - 6GB - most of it used for gaming, updates and watching movies etc online. Better than downloading - especially since I don't have hard-drive space to spare.

Yes most users wouldn't download 24/7 but an IT Technician would certainly download a lot more since he got an uncapped account.
