webafrica: download from their steam server without using bandwidth !

I am new to the forums and i saw everybody here is going on about the Web Africa Steam local thing,can some please give me a fast explaination

Web Africa ADSL subscribers will be able to download content, such as full games, from the Web Africa hosted Steam server without utilizing any bandwidth from their accounts!

This looks to be any WebAfrica bandwidth package even prepaid.
 
OK but how do i get it

OK now i understand but is it out yet or is it comeing and if it is out yet how do i get it for local u know........????:confused:
 
I will post an update as soonest possible however we are currently waiting on Valves team to finalize the setup on their side. The actual streaming will take some weeks to complete due to the size and we are intending on hosting a full mirror content server :)

Hopefully this will be up and running within the next few days

Yeah. We get shafted cause we're supposedly in the australasia region. Which has restrictions on the sale of games like GTA4. *sigh*

@ Neo. Lol, was just waiting for an opportune time to buy it. Like now :p
 
Will be great, when they actually do launch it, glad I am a WebAfrica client then..

Still now ETA on their part
