What are you currently reading?

Wow, what an epic thread. Interested to see that only one person is busy reading Robert Jordan. I just finished book 10 for the 2nd time. I read the Wheel of time when I was much younger. Now that Sanderson is finally finishing the books im rereading before starting the new work. only one more book before I head onto Sanderson's stuff.

Kind of on a break at the moment, busy reading Catch-22 by Heller (it's a vintage classic. really good)

I would really recommend Magician - Raymond E Feist. That series...is the greatest series...ever written.
His books are amazing. I was reading the Krondor series when I stopped but I see a bunch of new ones are out.

Robin Hobbs Assassin trilogy is very good as well. Her Liveship trilogy and Forest Mage trilogy both were very average.

I am super keen to read the Dark Materials books!

Also, the Darktower by Stephen King series is really really good. I just hated the ending!

Trying to get into The Man in the Iron Mask by Alexandre Dumas, enjoyed the movie a few years back so I decided to give the book a go.

Liveship trilogy was average?
Say whaaaaaaaat?
Captain Kennit ftw. :/

Stopped on Book 6 of Wheel of Time a few months ago.

Reading book 2 of the Malazan series, Deadhouse Thomson Gates, by Steven Erikson and Perdido Street Station, China Miéville.

Brother read Darktower and loved it. Told me the ending. What an asshole... gonna read it anyways. Eventually. Have way too many unread books at the moment.

I finished Book 1 of a Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones). Absolutely loved it! I really love his writing style..very imaginative..makes me visualise the scenes very well. Just started Book 2: A Clash of Kings.

5th book coming out tomorrow you say Staple?

Aye, got my copy here next to me :D

Yeah well I got it for $23 excl tax here in Canada, and that translates to around what I payed for the other books in the series in paperback in SA. Also randomly got a free copy of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol, so that's next on my reading list.

I am reading The Complete Illustrated Encyclopedia of Cats & Kittens

It is very interesting has history of them also

I think it so cool to see that gamers are not all high stimulus seekers (all the time). You know, we're not all about the flashing lights and the explosions! I'm reading Weird Tales by E.T.A. Hoffman. That stuff is trippy! In fact I love books so much that I've dedicated four years to the pursuit of the knowledge books offer at a university level. Cool thread, bro!

Busy with a Feast for Crows (Book 4 of a Song of Ice and Fire). Really enjoying it :) So many twists and turns. Can't wait to see how they going to interpret it in the GoT TV series

I've been reading Raymond E Feist on my Kindle. On the 3rd book at the moment (Darkness at Sethanon). I enjoy fantasy, and really enjoying his books. I think I'll continue reading each one, as they all follow on nicely with each other.

Just finished James Ellroy's Blood's A Rover.
Starting with L.A. Confidential again and then White Jazz, I read The Big Nowhere before I started with Blood's A Rover, haven't read White Jazz yet so I am curious to see how it all ends.

I'm not too heavy into reading, but I do enjoy a book every once in a while. When my study load decreases I'll start reading A game of thrones. Already have it on my phone. I like reading fantasy novels and series as well, so really excited to start on that once things calm down.
