What are you currently reading?

Last book I read was Assassins Creed: Brotherhood. Read it before I played and finished AC: Brotherhood.

The Mind's Eye by Oliver Sacks. Anyone who's read some of his earlier work do yourself a favour and read this as well. And throw in Musicophilia too. :)

I'm not too heavy into reading, but I do enjoy a book every once in a while. When my study load decreases I'll start reading A game of thrones. Already have it on my phone. I like reading fantasy novels and series as well, so really excited to start on that once things calm down.

You won't be disappointed! The books are awesome! I am halfway through book 4 and can easily say it has become one of my favourite series of books, if not THE favourite :)

On third (of five) book of David Eddings' Balgariad at the moment. Nice little story, can't wait for Bernard Cornwell's new Saxon Chronicle (Death of Kings) release in October though.

"Carte Blanche" by Jeffery Deaver (It's the new James Bond novel)
Next I'm going to read "A Clash of Kings" by George R.R. Martin

Sounds like a great book! I loved his self parody movie "My name is Bruce".

It's quite entertaining. Basically his memoir, how he started, the making of the evil dead series, interactions with the Raimis, etc. He glosses over some stuff and goes quite in depth in to others. I've had some laugh out loud moments (which can be embarrassing, considering I'm mostly reading it on the train). :p

On third (of five) book of David Eddings' Balgariad at the moment.

You've still got the next 5, the Mallorean. And then Belgarath the Sorcerer. And then Polgara the Sorceress.
Although the latter two aren't strictly necessary, just essentially "biographies" of those two characters, relating the stories of their lives, from the beginning, all the way through to the end of the Mallorean. Just adds a crap load more detail.

Almost done with Metro 2033 by Dmitri Glukhovsky. After that it's time to start with Game of Thrones ...

The Face - Dean Koontz.
Its awsome , hollywood actor gets stalked and then things turn nasty.
Opening chapter starts with an apple stitched together and theres an eye inside.

Recently finished "The Husband - Dean Koontz"
Book starts with a man getting a phone call , he gets told to look down the road at a man walking his dog , and then someone shoots the man with a sniper rifle , good , now they have his attention , read the book to find out why :)

Just read 'I am number four: The lost files, six's legacy'.
It basically is just an advert for 'I am number four', and the upcoming 'The power of six'.
It's pretty lame, it's 19 chapters, each chapter only being a couple of paragraphs. And then to bulk it up a bit, it has an excerpt of a 2 chapters from I am number four, and then a 2 chapters from the upcoming 'The power of six'.

Pretty much a waste of time.

Now I'm reading 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' by Seth Grahame-Smith

Cathedral by Nelson de Mille

I love de Mille. His earlier books vary a lot from his newer books in terms of genre, but are equally brilliant. Especially love the John Corey series and the new one of Gold Coast and the sequel Gatehouse. Hilariously dry humour.
