What are you currently reading?

Reading "Our tragic universe" by Scarlett Thomas. Interesting book but bit of new age/hippy-ness in it. All in all very amusing and enjoyable though. :)

Expiration Date by Duane Swierczynski

First book I'm reading by this author, I must say though that I'm quite enjoying it.

Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz, its first person and the only first person I've liked so far is Dick Francis. So I will see.

So I was reading "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" by Seth Grahame-Smith. Not bad at all, although I did find it a bit confusing at times, as the author seems to jump around quite a bit. Just not sure how the movie will turn out.

Next, I read "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown. This man should really stop writing. I think he is slathering his drivel on us purely for the paycheck. I must say, the concepts of his stories are really interesting, but his execution should rather result in his own execution.

Just finished "Infected" by Scott Sigler - very good, pretty brutal. This was my first Sigler novel - I'm itching to read more as he writes very well, and you get sucked in to the story. He also doesn't hold back on gruesome descriptions.

Now I'm reading "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold (Yes, there is a movie - haven't seen it yet). This is not a book you should read in public (learn from my fail), as it really tweaks your emotional strings. This damn book has had be sniveling like a school girl too many times to count.
