A common complaint about Amalur seems to be that it's too easy.

That's not how I felt. All the interrupts pissed me right the hell off. You'd be busy chaining a combo and then an off-screen enemy would blast you with a magic ball and ruin the entire combo. I basically rushed the second half of the game because I was just so tired of absolutely everything interrupting my attacks. An arrow that shaves off one 50th of your health would somehow interrupt your attack.

I went back to NV yesterday and finished up the Zion questline (which was really goddamned boring), then started with Old World Blues, which looks a lot better.

Sleeping Dogs
Not bad so far... not great either, but still good enough.

For the fighting, not a big fan of the one button does all and press a wrong button too fast, then the dude just stands there for a couple of seconds not being able to move while taking a beating.

Any game you buy on Steam and have downloaded you can easily backup and burn to a DVD, so there is never any need to reloaded a game if you don't want to.

As for getting FO3 and FNV to run smoothly, just message me and I can try help you out, there are a number of tweaks and what not which you can do to get them running better. I know because FO3 also used to crash like crazy on my machine.

Sure, PM away if you have any ideas.

Just finished Mass Effect 3 - got hooked on the multiplayer element - very cool, currently playing Kingdom of Amular: reckoning on XBox 360, and Red dead Redemption on PS3 with bouts of Forza 4 and GT5 in between. Let's just say my attention span is problematic

I was playing Fallout New Vegas Ultimate edition with some great mods that really add a lot to the game, but even so I haven't played it for 2 weeks now and I'm not sure if I'll get back to it. It just isn't all that enjoyable and the "Fallout Logic" when it comes to some things was really putting me off.

The main reason I'm still thinking about starting it up again is due to the mods which have added to the game like the Willow companion and a home etc..

Darksiders II (PS3)

Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Edition (PC)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl (PC, with complete mod)
Saints Row the Third (PC)
Red Faction: Armageddon (PC)
Lost Planet Extreme Condition (PC)

Currently playing Lollipop Chainsaw. It's a lot of fun, I'm really enjoying the insanity of Suda51's games.

I had quite a few laughs from this game. Especially some of the comments made by Nick at times. Such a random game.

As for me, I'm working on my Tiger Woods 2012 golfer at the moment.

Mirror's Edge PS3. found it in the bargin bin at BT, awesome concept, surprised to find out the stopped development on the sequel..

Yeah, I loved that game, was something fresh and had very solid gameplay. I just wanted a multiplayer time trial shootout a-la Trackmania.
