What MMOs are you currently playing

Unbelievable heading into month 10 of Eve, this is the longest time I have ever played one MMO in a row other than my first WoW experience.

I am contemplating playing Elite Dangerous to see what it is like.

Lasted a week in ESO before getting bored again. Mostly divide my time between wow and neverwinter.

Have u played since goin B2P? And in fairness u need to have given the game a proper go. I believe when playing an MMO u need to play it properly for at least a month. IMO the game has changed a lot and they have made some massive improvements. Its well worth getting geared up and playing the trials.

Eve online is an awesome game, heck I played it on and off for many years! CCP have done well to almost reinvent the game and make it more accessible. Are u paying for subs or plexing?

I am at the stage where I am happily plexing, so its a free game now ;-)

Still waiting in great anticipation for ESO on console, received this, so i'm all good to go :D

Your account will be copied from PC/Mac to console on June 1, 2015, at 15:00 BST. Shortly after your account is copied from PC/Mac to the console of your choice, you will receive your digital game code for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.

One of the best mechanics of EvE online! I would be keen to hear the stuff u involved in. Are u messing around with moon mining and reactions?

Got 3 accounts doing full on ratting in carriers and subcaps.
The alliance I am in at the moment (totally South African corporation with 40+ members) is at war with a greedy alliance neighbour so I am flying dreadnaughts in structure bashing ops and structure repping ops in triage carrier with subcap system defence in between. We are all waiting with huge anticipation for Tuesday 2 June when the SOV changes come in and much PVP ship shooting and small gang pew pew will commence.
On another character I am purely PVPing in Providence, flying logi (healer).

So much to do ;-)

To be honest, myself and the South Africans that live in our pocket of space welcome gankers, intel tells us a gang is on the way. We dock up our shiny ships and undock in our killer ships and meet the gankers head on. We are carebears with very sharp teeth.

We only hide in our station when a force comes that we cannot hope to beat, but that is Eve for you.

Ever had any issues with sudden wormhole arrivals? Also are all ur carriers kitted out with officer mods?

I tried getting into EVE about 2 years ago but found it to be too grindy and could tell I had to sink in a ton of time before I actually got anywhere.

Also, no free ride right?

We close wormholes pretty quick. I have never and will never use officer mods on anything, there is no point other than epeen and I am not that kind of player. My carriers are T2 fitted only. The gain from adding bling is minimal. The aim is to make as much money with the least risk.

No free ride indeed. Some parts can be grindy, the PVP definately isn't. Its the same in every MMO I think. Stay away from mining, that is the MOST boring thing you can do in Eve.

I tried out the trial about 2 years back. Possible to try it again as I'm looking to hopping into a space game and don't want to wait for Star Citizen. It's this or Elite: Dangerous

Done a lot of research into Elite, was thinking of buying it (insanely expensive) but it sounds more like a space sim where there is no one around for many light years. Its what I like about Eve (good and bad), that there are always people around to interact with.

The thing with Eve Online is there are detrimental results for doing certain things. Its not like other MMOs where if u die, u respawn, pay a repair bill and carry on. Here if u die, u could potentially loose expensive stuff that could seriously hamper u. That and this is truly a sandbox game centred around PvP. Just read sites like evenews and u will see the constant conflict happening around EvE.
