What movie did you last watch thread.

Mr nobody, was pretty legit ^^

If anybody hasn't seen it, I urge you to go check it out, I guess the best way to put it is a Mind F--- in the lines of Donnie Darko or Eternal sunshine on a spotless mind

Loved it. had to go google the deeper meaning cause I was left with all these questions.

Went to see Captain America: Civil War - Liked it like I do all superhero movies. There is some Avenger vs Avenger action too which was good.

Watched Ratchet and Clank with my little brother. Hands down the best film adaptation of a game ever.

Watched Zoo Lander 2 the other night... Rather dont...

Also started 10 Cloverfield lane which so far is looking seriously good :D

captain america civil war 10/10 best marvel movie thus far, it felt like what the avengers movie should have been, and tom hollands performance as spider man is F@<king amazing, he captures the character perfectly. brilliant movie

JSA (Joint Security Area) is a lessen known Korean film directed by Park Chan-wook, this is prior to his other more famous works such as Thirst, Stroker and one we all might know of, Oldboy. What an absolute treasure of a film. For some it may have a bit of a long introduction but once you get past the first 30 minutes all the characters start to flesh out incredibly and this drives the plot even further. There where a few quirks I had with the film such as some parts spoken in English which broke the immersion slightly (there is a English dub available) and the ever so convenient plot mechanic to tie the film up at the end.

I give it a 9/10, the plot was well executed and with very likable, and relatable characters I was entertained from start to finish.

Went to see angry birds with my boys and it was an awesome movie i liked it so did my boys specially in 3d. Cant wait for the second one.

oh my bad. heard the review on the radio on Saturday, must have been a media only viewing. I'll make time for it this weekend.

More so than the original?

About the same. Many of the same tracks are used. The new songs are all either hip-hop, or some kind of country/folk/blues. There was at least one new song I enjoyed, even though country and hip-hop aren't really my jam.

Dancing was great, story was so-so. I can easily see people arguing either (a) how scarily well the Footloose story translates into a modern retelling, or (b) how the Footloose story is too unbelievable for a modern retelling. Depends on your perspective, I guess.

Julianne Hough (2011 movie) is prettier than Lori Singer (1984 movie), and Kenny Wormald is better-looking then Kevin Bacon, so there's that :D
