What movie did you last watch thread.

I watched this earlier today. I watched it 2D at Sandton where they have already converted to digital. Really enjoyed this, but then again anything sci-fi, fantasy, action, etc is definitely something I look out for. Seems like it was a prequel of sorts to the X-Men?

Anyhow, here is the trailer. I might be a little biased, as this is my genre that I enjoy, but I'd rate it a 8.5/10.

 
Blood Diamond, for about the third or fourth time. The first film where I took Leonard DiCaprio seriously. And he hasn't disappointed since.
 
I watched the new Wolverine movie this weekend. not bad. when you watch it just wait about 5 minutes after the movie ends, there is an extra scene.
 
Drinking Buddies - I hate movies that start telling a story, and then the credits roll with no real ending grrrrrr
 
Scary Movie 5 - 1/10

Most. Juvenile. Film. Ever.

Seriously bad even by spoof movie standards. I fail to find the words to describe how stupid it is. Utter shiat!

Its unexpectedly brutal hey? really enjoyed it!
 
Just watched Pacific Rim...it's insane. The story is that same cliche crap you get in all these american movies, but the way it's done is amazing. Everything from the acting to the soundtracks is very very well done. Oh and the fighting scenes are insane.

9/10 MUST WATCH!!!
 
Wondering if its time this got stickied...
Last movie I watched was Abe Lincoln - Vampire Hunter, was fairly disappointing so I would give it a 6.5
 
I watched Planet of the Apes (2001). I've seen bits and pieces of it before, but this was about the first time I sat through the whole thing. The costumes and makeup were great, and there were some good performances if a little over the top (Tim Roth). The plot, particularly the ending, was a bit confusing.
 
Battleship. Sci-fi action. Watched it over two nights. Really enjoyed it. Some good action scenes and interesting actors / actresses in this. Good plot. Glad I got the DVD.

9/10 for me.

One of my favourites just because of the comical side of it.

If that is the worst movie you've ever seen then you don't watch a lot of movies. GI Joe Retaliation and Scary Movie 5 comes to mind.
